this is pretty nice!
feedback (nitpicks):

  • you couldve used symbols for pause/unpause and play game (V and X)
  • the waves could be a little faster, i did not expect to see a new enemy type "that far" into the game

thank you for checking in and send me feedbacks, i might say, why the waves is not that fast, i do actually tried to make it a bit faster, but it kinda just make the game hard and nearly unplayable, but yeah, thank you for sending me some feedbacks.
